Gina and Lou in China

The water in the creek was very clean, the cleanest that we've seen in China. The creek was crossed by a small number of paved bridges, but the road itself was unpaved and very muddy in spots.

The valley was so narrow and its sides so steep that the road was sometimes carved into the cliffside.

The creek was full of boulders that had fallen down from the cliffsides. There were a couple of spots where the road was partially blocked by landslides.
