This is McTracy’s father breaking the seal on a bottle of baijiu, with McTracy’s mother looking on. This was one
of two fairly elaborate banquets to which they treated us. Baijiu is usually translated as “wine”,
but it is more like a kind of grain based brandy. McTracy’s father is something of a baijiu expert, and he sent
us off with a gift of three more bottles like this one.
