
This is a view from the tea house patio. The bridge is a relatively new development.
The red arch was built to make Ya’an look urban and cosmopolitan, but the stains down the side
make it look a little shabby.

This is the standard “lemon tea”, which doesn’t have any actual tea
leaves in it. It has fresh lemon slices, little dried red berries that are only available in China,
and fresh (not dried) Chinese dates. It is sweetened to taste with rock sugar.
