
The road bed of this bridge is quarter inch steel plates bolted to cables. Depending on how much
traffic is on it, it can move up and down several inches, which makes riding a bicycle on it tricky. It is the
only access to the community on the other side. The material used to build the houses and buildings on that side
of the river was transported across the bridge in three wheeled pedal carts.

Like everywhere else, the river valley is intensly cultivated.
