
Like every celebratory performance in China, this one had the two emcees, very polished and enthusiastic.
The projected background stayed up the entire time, but the lights weren’t dimmed so it was hard to see.

The kids played a couple of traditional Chinese pieces and were very cute. The guy in the uniform is
their teacher.

The boy second from the left is the son of Lin Ping, my erhu teacher. That’s his father in the
background at the far left.
