The old part of Lijiang is all older buildings with the tiled peak roofs common
in China. This shot was carefully aimed to avoid the modern office buildings visible in other
directions.
Lijiang is laced with small canals crossed by stone bridges.
These are regular Chinese characters done in a Naxi style.
Jade Dragon Mountain looms over Lijiang. It’s foothills are about an hour
away.
