Tiger Leaping Gorge is so named because it’s so narrow that a tiger might
possibly jump across. Downstream from this view, there is a large boulder in the water situated
such that a human might get across in two leaps.
“Please stay away from the edge and walk next to the rock face.”
We had to look up very steeply to take this picture. The mountain peaks are very
close to the bottom of the gorge.
