By car From
Interstate 91,
take Route 9
east through
Hadley. After
approximately 4
miles, turn left
(just after the
Howard Johnson
Hotel) on Route
116, heading
north. At the first
traffic light, turn
right onto
Meadow Street.
Drive about
three tenths of a
mile to next light,
and turn left.
Stay to the right
at the Y, and
continue on
Route 63 north.
Take the third
right onto Pulpit
Hill Road. The
community is
ahead on the left
(#110 and #120).
By bus From
the Amherst
Common or
UMass, the Sun-
derland bus
(#31) goes north
along North
Pleasant Street.
Get off at Pine
Street, cross the
intersection and
walk north on the
left side of route
63 until the side-
walk ends.
Across Route 63
will be Pulpit Hill
Road. Pioneer
Valley Cohous-
ing is about 100
yards up on the
left.
